Joe Eaton and Ron Sullivan are Berkeley-based naturalists who have been fascinated by the natural world for most of their lives. Joe is a recovering birder; Ron is a former arborist specializing in aesthetic pruning.
They are both freelance writers whose articles on natural history and gardening have appeared in the Home and Garden section of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Berkeley Daily Planet, Estuary, Bay Nature, Orion, California Wild, Birder’s World, and other publications.
